Medical Directorships
Our most experienced geriatric physicians may also serve as your community’s Medical Director. They have years of experience in post-acute/long term care settings. Many times they are Certified Medical Directors of the American Medical Director’s Association. Medical Directors direct and advise on medical care processes and procedures. They are also involved in quality improvement programs and overall management of the physician and nurse practitioner care team. They provide clinical care training and mentoring, they advise community management teams on best practices, and work with our communities in educating local hospitals about the great clinical care their communities provide.
